Math Learning
"Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning....They have to play with what they know to be true in order to find out more, and then they can use what they learn in new forms of play."

Cooking With Kids
Cooking with kids can be so fun and has added benefits of learning math and science concepts, working together, turn taking and word recognition. Writing the recipe down in a child-friendly way will maximize the benefits they get and help in developing the concepts.
Pizza
The recipe was taken from a recipe on Taste of Home. I downloaded pictures from Bing.com and copied and pasted in a word document to create this preschooler-friendly recipe.

Banana Parfaits
I don't remember where I found this recipe, but it's just a basic parfait recipe. Any fruit, yogurt or other ingredients would work.
Layer bananas, yogurt, tangerines and chopped almonds.

Doughnuts
I found this doughnut recipe on a Google search, but I don't remember where it was found. We made doughnuts one week when we were learning about the letter "D".
Any recipe will work such as this one from Taste of Home:
